Diabetes
Posted by Dan Burton on February 29, 2008
Good morning friends.
I firmly believe that diabetes is taking a heavy toll on too many Americans and their families. While the medical community has made great strides in understanding and treating this disease, there is still much more work to be done, and that means continuing our strong national commitment to the fight against diabetes. Continued investment in the Type I research program, and the Special Diabetes Program for Indians, will maintain support for research and treatment. It will truly help those who are living with diabetes and help prevent the onset of diabetes in others. That is why I am a cosponsor of HR 2762.
